Where is the clinic located?
Our clinic is conveniently located in the grounds of Mercy Hospital. 72 Newington Ave, Māori Hill, Dunedin. Mercy Physio & Co are located in the Marinoto Clinic, Level 1, Suite 13.
Is parking available?
Yes. We have patient parking onsite, turn on to the Mercy hospital grounds, the car park is on your left.
Is there a cafe on site? Yes! We have a welcoming café on site offering a delicious selection of fresh food, hot and cold drinks, and barista-made coffee prepared just the way you like it.
Do I need a referral from my doctor?
No referral is necessary. You can book directly with one of our physiotherapists without seeing your GP or specialist first.
Do I need my ACC claim number before my appointment?
Not at all. If you already have an ACC claim or have completed an ACC injury form, please bring any relevant paperwork with you. If you haven't lodged a claim yet, we are ACC accredited and can help submit one on your behalf if appropriate.
How much does a physiotherapy appointment cost?
As an ACC-accredited provider, we can assess and treat ACC-covered injuries. A patient co-payment applies to all ACC appointments.

What if my appointment isn't covered by ACC?
Private appointments are welcome and are charged at our standard consultation rate.

How do I pay?
Payment is due on the day of your appointment unless other arrangements have been made in advance.
We accept EFTPOS, PayWave, and all major credit cards. We do not have cash facilities.
How do I book an appointment?
Booking is easy. Call us on 03 974 6043 and our friendly admin team will be happy to assist you, or book online via our website at a time that suits you using our online booking system.
What happens during my first physiotherapy appointment?
Your initial consultation includes a discussion about your symptoms, injury or condition, medical history, and any goals you'd like to achieve. Your physiotherapist will complete a thorough assessment, explain their findings, and work with you to develop a personal treatment and recovery plan.

How much does a Pelvic Health appointment cost?

- Follow up private appointments are $125
Do your physiotherapists offer acupuncture? Yes. We have physiotherapists who are trained in acupuncture and will discuss whether acupuncture is a suitable option as part of your personalised treatment plan.
What should I wear?
Please wear comfortable clothing that allows easy access to the area being assessed or treated and enables you to move freely.
